LUCH Gallery is a curatorial project established to present personal and group exhibitions of contemporary art aimed to promote Russian art and to acquaint the audience with works of well-known and young Russian artists of different schools and trends. Its purpose is to draw attention to contemporary Russian art, expand the understanding of it and increase the level of its significance as a social and cultural phenomenon. The project is addressed to the global audience.
The gallery focuses on "New Wave" artists and young promising authors who use both traditional and new techniques in their works. Some of them preserve the line of succession of Russian art from folk art, others from the avant—garde and art of the 1930s, but they are all united by an attentive attitude to the balance of ideas, aesthetics and technological execution.
