A personal exhibition of the artist Kirill Kipyatkov "Colors of Sports" was presented at the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the Government of St.Petersburg as part of the All-Russian exhibition project "The Art of being the First!", held under the auspices of the Sochi 2014 Cultural Olympiad.​

As a painter, Kirill Kipyatkov is attracted strength, movement, beauty, moments and situations in sports. He paints in a recognizable author's technique, combining his knowledge and skills as an academic artist with vivid abstract elements. ​

Kirill Kipyatkov can be officially called a "sports artist". Since 2010, while working with the Colors of Sports project, his paintings have been exhibited at several major sporting events, such as the "Golden Oars" regatta at St.Petersburg English Rowing Club, "St.Petersburg Open" tennis tournament in St.Petersburg, the International Exhibition "SPORT" in Moscow, the forum "Russia is an empire of sports!" in Saransk. In 2011 a personal exhibition was presented at the Central Museum of Physical Culture and Sports in Moscow. Kirill Kipyatkov's paintings were noted by the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation V.L.Mutko and today his reception room is decorated with several works by the author. ​

The Colors of Sports exhibition at the Sports Committee presents artist's new works from 2012-2013 dedicated to winter sports: skiing, slalom, biathlon, hockey, ski jumping, bobsleigh and others.
